If you are in the Atlanta area, Please come out and support my friend Lentheus Chaney and Urban Lux Magazine for The Anti-Prejudice Consortium Present STOP STEREOTYPES Fundraiser & Issue Release.
Childhood bullying, stereotyping and prejudices can have long life consequences. Up to half of all children are bullied at some point during their school year. Children who are bullied at school seldom do well socially or academically and are more likely to think about suicide.
Join us for an evening of STYLE, CULTURE and CONSCIENCE as Urban Lux Magazine endeavors to STOP STEREOTYPES in support of anti-bullying and Power Over Prejudice at the release of the MARCH / APRIL “BREAKING STEREOTYPES” issue and fundraiser for APC, The Anti-Prejudice Consortium.
Hosted by Q Parker, Grammy award-winning singer & songwriter & Multi-Platinum selling member of 112, the evening will be inclusive of 150 of Atlanta’s influential businessmen and women as they sip complementary cocktails and taste culinary creations while having the opportunity to view and bid on original artwork, jewelry and fashions from local artists and designers. Guests will also be entertained by the sounds of Q Parker, Yoeshi Roberts and Soul River Brown all while supporting a good cause.
