Your Hair is Sooo “Huetiful”!!

The Huetiful Hair Steamer is a Great product and Great addition to my “Shampoo Day” process. The story of how I got introduced to the steamer is ironic! “Want to hear it, here it go!” Lol!

I applied to be a hair model for a company that specializes in curly hair. Later I received this response back:

Thank you for inquiring about the modeling opportunity. We have your information and we’ll reach out to you once we have reviewed all applications.

On a side note, I see that you were an Automated Logistics Specialist. A 92A? In a much previous life, I was at Fort Lee. I graduated from West Point and resigned as a captain. I was a Quartermaster so I spent three and a half years at Fort Lee. For a bit, I was the company commander of Alpha Company (which was one of two companies where 92As went through AIT. I think Golf Company was the other. Small world.

If you want to know more about my company, google Huetiful Hair Steamer. I got out of the military and got my MBA. Worked in brand management at Procter & Gamble’s beauty care division, and now live and work here in Atlanta. I’m seeking brand ambassadors and spokespersons who can use the product and do commercial print / video testimonials. That is why I posted for the gig.

Take care,

  1. Here’s an email I receive the other day:

I just watched your review on the Huetiful hair steamer (I hope it’s spelled right!) and I really enjoyed it. I normally wear a natural close to my head, but of late have tried to do something different since I just recently turned 30 (Easter Sunday). When I used to relax my hair I would generally take great care of it being a wife, and mother. Fast forward I now have 3 kids not one, and getting time to put on 5 min. make-up is a lucky treat. I have since permed my hair a few times resulting in it breaking off so badly my husband was forced to cut it off again to even it out. I thought maybe it’s the Louisiana water, and when we return to Ga it will be fine… but what if it isn’t it has been dry and brittle since I relaxed it I really don’t know how to care for hair longer than an inch. The only time it is long is when I am pregnant, and I am not getting “knocked up” just to wear a ponytail! lol Do you think this product will really help me? My husband is a marine and I am a mother who puts everyone first then me. I just couldn’t spend one hundred bucks on something that really doesn’t work. I looked at the other girl’s review and didn’t see a difference between her before, and after plus she looked mixed. Your hair looks like my sister’s long and very thick, but when taken care of black, shiny, full, and gorgeous! I would really love some personal feedback since you seem to know your own mind plus you have personality something I have in bucketfuls! Thank you so much for your time.

    • Here was my response:

      Hey Anetra,

First of all, “Happy Belated Birthday”!! I know how it feels to want a different look as you mature ;)…I’m 31! And another thing before I answer your question, I commend you for being a military man’s wife and I appreciate your husband’s service (I use to be in the Army)! Ok, now your question. Yes I do believe it will assist, but not solve your whole problem. It sound like you need some good hair care products that will return your hair back to health. Yes the steamer is an Excellent treatment that helps lock in moisture and to stop breakage, but you also need some daily hair products. There is a salon called Curltopia you may what to checkout; here’s the contact info:

      3150 Highlands Parkway Southeast
      Smyrna, GA 30082-7260
      (770) 434-5585

I use Miss Jessie’s products and they sale them at this salon. I’m not going to lie to ya, they are pricey, BUT they work. I hope that answers your question.

P.S. I’m appreciate your email and I’m going to post it on my blog, if that’s ok with you.
