UPDATE 11/22/2010
Just wanted to give a “Shout Out” to Deryck Toles…. a man doing GREAT things, from my home town Warren, OH. Deryck will be in the audiance on the Oprah Show Monday, November 22, 2010, for Oprah’s Ultimate Favorite Things Show…and he deserves it!! Deryck is the Founder of a non-profit organizaton, Inspiring Minds. Check out the website http://www.2dreamagain.org/index.htm .
Their Mission Statement: Inspiring Minds, a nonprofit outreach organization, will promote the development of youth and adolescent dreams by exposure to new experiences. Encouraging a method of defining personal success and giving back to the community, Inspiring Minds will also motivate and educate students in order to overcome situational and personal obstacles resulting in overall growth and accomplishment.
